Simpsons POC

Anybody who knows me, knows I'm obsessed with The Simpsons. One thing I constantly do is scan the Springfield crowds, normally in the form of an angry mob with torches, for People of Color. Especially black people. Well, I decided to create some of my own ranging from Black to Latino to Middle Eastern. Of course, they have to be HOT. And even though these People of Color aren't in color, they will be in time.

Official BGBF Update

A couple people have asked me if there were any new issues. There were. Shamefully, they hadn't been uploaded or anything. So, I've finally updated my official Black Gay Boy Fantasy website. All twenty three issues have been uploaded. So, if you want the whole story so far, you can catch up. There's no telling how long I'm going to keep them all up either. Read them while you can.
When uploading the newest issues, I didn't realize how long it had taken me to get things done. It's like a only couple issues a year! It's still a lot of work when you factor in a crappy day job, family, friends, drama and the ever-loving TV. And, here I was thinking all this time that I was getting something done. At least, issue #25 probably won't be too far behind this update. A lot of work got done on it this week.

Issue #20 - "New Best Friend." Just as things start heating up between Neil and Dustin, along comes Rayshaun. Is he friend or foe? Queen or confidant? Bitchy or just plain messy? Or all of the above? I'll let you decide. I've already made up my mind. Or have I?
Issue #21 - "Eric." What has been building since Eric Drummond's introduction in issue #4 has finally boiled to a head. See how Zelda handles Neil's relationship with Eric. Roll up your sleeves, pull out the Vaseline and start lining your hair with razor blades. It's a knock down drag out.
Issue #22 - "How They Met." Has a new page turned in the love life of Neil Jordan? Some folks move on. Some folks arrive. Some folks get some things explained. Some folks? Well, some folks never change.
Issue #23 - "Revolutionary Actions." Meet Jesus Nolasco and discover what kind of person he really is and how cool his friends really are. Plus, Derrick and Rodney (The Obligatory Long Term Couple) welcome an addition to their family.

Issue #21 - Eric

In my pursuit to remember that I'm actually an artist supposedly doing a comic book, I decided that it's time to update the website. (By time you read this --- it won't be updated. I'm still working on it.) But, alas, it's still A LOT of work. This brought back memories. It doesn't reveal anything about issue #21 - "Eric." But, I figured I'd post it. This issue explains a lot about Eric's behavior and why Neil lets him get away with so much. Hopefully, once you get the full story, you will, too. (Yes, Neil has a fade and is wearing paisleys. Eric has a bush and is a tad chubby.)

Barbie Turns 50

Everybody knows who she is. Barbara Millicent Roberts --- or simply known as Barbie. She started out as the teenage fashion model who taught little girls how to dress. Over the years, it was all pink this and pink that. Then suddenly, "the bitch had everything." Multiple careers. Beach homes and dream house. Cars, campers and Corvettes. Every piece of fashionable wardrobe known to woman. An accessory called Ken and even a "black friend" named Christie. You can say what you want to about her, but after 50 years, she's still looking good. Barbie was created in 1959 from Bild Lilli, the German fashion doll based upon a slightly racy comic strip. "Creator," Ruth Handler took the idea during a trip to Europe, brought three dolls back to Mattel, re-designed her, named it after her own daughter and the rest is history. Well, the old girl is 50 today and she's never looked better. Personally? I have nothing bad to say. Happy Birthday, Babs! Oh, and good luck in that battle against The Bratz.

Scrying, from what I get the impression of --- from "Charmed" or "John Constantine - Hellblazer" is trying to pin down somebody's location through mystical means. I'm not trying to figure out why Patrick has on so little clothes or why Hollis has on NO clothes ... The ends justify the means somehow.

This is an illustration I did for a wonderful friend of mine to help her stay inspired by writing.

"Snow" ... finally?

Well, the snow finally came. It wasn't a lot of snow, but it was a good enough excuse to stay home from work. So, at least I finally got to lay on my sofa and watch it come down. And, yes, Mr. Obama - President, Sir, it will all probably be ice tomorrow.
