Corbin Bleu, star of the "High School Musical" movies and TV show "Flight 29 Down" is an absolute cutie pie. It looks like he's trying to grow up. I really hope he continues to have a successful career.
New movie, "Freestyle."
From a High School Musical dance rehearsal.
With his father, fellow actor, David Reivers, who was with him in the movie, "Jump In."

Issue No. 19 - Audition
Issue No. #19 of Black Gay Boy Fantasy - "Audition." Neil meets his new boyfriend, Dustin's friends at a party. But, his nerves get the better of him and drama --- not to mention alcohol --- ensues. Below are a couple of spoilers!!! If you want to read it first ... go here!!!
I have to talk about newcomer, Rayshaun for a moment. He was completely unintentional. He was one of those characters who, upon first appearance, just burst through a door, literally, and made himself known. When writers talk about characters writing themselves, Rayshaun was definitely one of mine. Neil had to go to the party through a very impromptu invitation from Dustin. But, Rayshaun was there and pretty much made himself known. He has a past with these people. He definitely knows them. And, much to Neil's surprise, he becomes a very much needed ally.
Rayshaun may very well become my complicated troublemaker. We all have one. Some of us, unfortunately, have more than one.
And, in true fashion ... bitchy queens often have bitchy queen friends. More about them in later issues.

Georgette & Charlene
On June 7th, 2008, I was invited to a "house warming." Two long time friends of mine was having a housewarming. The word was: "Be On Time." I wasn't told that because generally, I'm on time. But, this was the one time I was running late. I was in a panic. I was picking up my "late person," who really was a little late considering HE had all the extra time in the world. But, I digress ... I was SO happy for Georgette and Charlene. They've been together almost ten years. I love them dearly. When I think of them, my love blossoms. It really does. I forget that sometimes because I don't see them on a regular. They're really good people, so I had to be there for their housewarming. It was a comedy of errors, but I made it there. We were gathered in the backyard. It was hot as HELL. I'm not joking. It was hot. Really hot. It was so hot ---- "How hot was it?" It was so hot, Victor didn't even have a drink. I'd also heard a rumor that it was going to be CATERED and that Georgette wasn't allowed to cook. Georgette?!? Our beloved --- our very own Georgette wasn't even allowed to cook? She was actually supposed to ENJOY the day without puttering about and making sure that everybody else was okay and having fun?
As one of our persona would have said, "I smell a rat." But ... I didn't. When I don't expect trickery from certain people, those senses turn off. But ... had I put on my Nancy Drew penny loafers and grabbed a flashlight and magnifying glass, I would have put the clues together. I heard a rumor about a band and a dance troupe. (The dance troupe never showed. Were they even supposed to be there?) The programs were passed out. Programs? Where was I? The Kennedy Center?!? I was so unfocused that I didn't even notice the mention of exchanging of vows!!! Our beloved Georgette and Charlene were getting married. I'm just getting to this now because I wanted to get permission first. But, my Georgette and Charlene tied the knot. And, I couldn't be happier for them. They mean the world to me and the rest of the world (or at least the two other people who read my blog) should know that marriage is still a wholesome and wonderful thing ... and that two of my favorite people in this world are married. This is my ode to them because I gave them a housewarming gift and not a wedding gift.
My fellow tough talking (and hilariously foul mouthed) Aries, Charlene is just a big baby as me. Charlene ... the tears, after those beautifully exchanged vows brought me to tears as well. But, I'm a complete sap and easy.
My newest dynamic duo: Georgette and Charlene. Words can not express my complete happiness. Really, girls. I mean it.

Speaking of Wonder Woman
Wonder Woman is back --- this time in animation form. DC Comics and Warner Brothers made a movie out of "Superman: Doomsday" which was an adaptation of "The Death of Superman." To me, it was really a Lois Lane story. Since I love Lois Lane: I loved it. Then, they did "The New Frontier," an origin of the DC superheroes during the McCarthy period where all of the superheroes either had to unmask or stop being superheroes. There is also supposed to be a movie for the New Teen Titans: The Judas Contract. Those of us who are fans of George Perez and the New Teen Titans know about Terra, the Terminator and the New Teen Titans. Then, DC and Warner did an Anime "The Dark Knight" movie which is about Batman, that came out a couple days ago. More exciting on The Dark Knight is a promo of the upcoming Wonder Woman animated movie. (I hear, it's not much of a promo.) But, I'm excited. I've been waiting for this. Wonder Woman, back in 1987, was finally done properly. Enter: George Perez, one of the greatest comic artist and storytellers, in my opinion, ever. He re-vamped the Wonder Woman mythos. If you haven't seen it, check it out. It's one of the best stories ever told in six comic issues. Wonder Woman, Diana, the daughter of Hippolyte (Queen of the amazons: rebirthed from the souls of women murdered by men), Princess of Themyscira, official Ambassador of Peace, finally had an origin that completely made sense and the greatest ensemble cast of all time: Julia and Vanessa Kapatelis. (Screw you, DC for letting them be re-written, molested, disrespected, disappear, etc.) Now, there's an animated movie -- based upon, most likely "adapted" (meaning: nothing like) from the George Perez re-imaginings. It may not be what we expect ... but, she's here. Personally and on record: I'm excited.
